Funding Activity
Cascade Culinary Institute students and Culinary Club members are required to become members of The American Culinary Federation for culinary competitions. Each membership is seventy dollars ($70.00) at the student level. In addition each team will have to pay an entry fee of three hundred and twenty dollars ($320.00) per team. COCC/CCI usually has two (2) teams of 5 students each competing in these competitions yearly. The total projected funding will be one thousand three hundred and forty dollars ($1340.00).
These funds will assistance each team with their competition. These funds exclude food, lodging, and travel expenses for students. Additional culinary competition expenses include preparation supplies, menu printing, linen rentals, extra luggage or shipping expenses of providing competition equipment.
10 American Culinary Federation memberships $ 700
2 ACF Competition team entry fees @ $320 each $ 640
Total $1340
The Culinary Club thankfully and graciously accepts financial support for the entire projected competition expenses or any support that the Student Government Council is willing to fund.
